Dr. Renata Strashnaya has a B.S. in Advertising and Marketing and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. She is a visiting instructor at Pratt Institute and an assistant professor at The City University of New York. As a researcher and educator with expertise in narrative inquiry and discourse analysis, she collaborates with diverse communities on multi-faceted projects highlighting the power of storytelling from the perspective of individuals with lived experience. She believes in advocacy through storytelling and rising above what was, what is, and raising the bar for what will be.
