Office of the Brooklyn Borough President x Made in NYC Week: Symposium - Making More: Industry’s Role in an Affordable, Livable City

As part of Made in NYC Week 2026, the Office of Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso presents a symposium to launch our newest policy paper, “Making More: Industry’s Role in an Affordable, Livable City” at Brooklyn Borough Hall. The day will include presentations and discussions about the evolving and critical role of the manufacturing sector in Brooklyn.

The schedule (in formation) will include:
* Keynote address from Elizabeth Yeampierre of UPROSE on their GRID 2.0 proposal
* Presentations from the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office
* Panel 1: Challenges and Opportunities in Brooklyn’s Industrial Business Zones – a discussion with Brooklyn’s Industrial Business Service Providers
* Panel 2: Moving More: Manufacturing and Intermodal Freight in Brooklyn
* Panel 3: The Future of Brooklyn’s Green Economy

Lunch will be included.
