Capri Swim™ is a Black-owned, woman-owned luxury swimwear company creating reversible, sustainable pieces crafted in small batches through local manufacturing in New York City’s historic Garment District. Each capsule reflects luxury minimalism and artisan craftsmanship, offering thoughtfully made thongkinis, monokinis, swim trunks, and resort-wear designed with intention, movement, and longevity in mind.

Founded by Brooklyn-based, multi-hyphenate creative Ashley Capri in 2020, the brand evolved from her background as an NBA dancer and costume designer—experiences that shaped her approach to technical design, functionality, and storytelling. What began as hand-sewn bikinis evolved into Capri Swim™, a global creative house inspired by Ashley’s Caribbean–Guyanese lineage. In Guyanese culture, gold is both a treasured natural resource and a symbol of heritage passed down through generations, a tradition reflected in the brand’s signature gold hardware. Capri Swim™ partners exclusively with Fun360 Inc, led by Albert Gonzalez, whose technical mastery brings the brand’s craftsmanship to life.

Capri Swim™ views luxury as an artistic experience shaped by culture, community, and narrative. Each reversible design offers two swimsuits in one, reflecting the brand’s commitment to versatility, storytelling, and sustainable intention.
