Token

Token is an experimental Brooklyn-based studio led by partners Will Kavesh and Nicole Cornell. Drawing on the legacy of American modernism, the studio blends art, craft, and sophisticated technology to create designs that feel both timeless and progressive. With technical precision and a reverence for materiality, each piece reimagines classical forms through a contemporary lens.

Token was founded by artist and designer Will Kavesh, who holds degrees in sculpture from Alfred University and Virginia Commonwealth University, and Nicole Cornell, whose background in ballet informs the studio’s creative vision and operations. Their influences come from across the arts, and together they bring a disciplined connection to artistic tradition alongside an adventurous spirit of exploration in developing new work.

Working primarily with interior designers and architects, Token produces furniture and art for residential, hospitality, and commercial environments. The studio’s work has been featured in publications including The New York Times, Elle Decor, Vogue, Luxe, and Interior Design, and is recognized for its thoughtful approach to form, material, and enduring craftsmanship.
