Andrew Leon Hanna
Andrew Leon Hanna (he/him) is an award-winning entrepreneur, author, lawyer, and professor. He is the co-founder of Mona, a social venture incubated at Stanford and Harvard that connects small business entrepreneurs to affordable capital. His book, “25 Million Sparks: The Untold Story of Refugee Entrepreneurs” (Cambridge University Press), was named a Financial Times Best Book of the Year and won the Bracken Bower Prize. His film on immigrant entrepreneurs, “DreamxAmerica” (PBS), was a Chicago Emmy® Award nominee. Andrew is a professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and was previously at McKinsey, the White House, and the Justice Department. He is on the Kiva US advisory board and is a senior fellow at Social Finance. He holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MBA from Stanford GSB, and an AB from Duke University.
