Argilla NYC

Brooklyn

Argilla NYC brings together sculptural porcelain jewelry and playful tableware, all handcrafted in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Founded in 2020, the studio blends Italian heritage with Brooklyn energy, creating objects that celebrate everyday joy.

Founder Marianna Di Giansante, a former chef, first turned to clay during a difficult time. What began as making tableware for her own home grew into a full-time practice where porcelain rings, bowls, and pitchers became vessels for both beauty and ritual.

Each piece is carefully made in porcelain: rings are sculpted from fine Limoges porcelain imported from Europe, while tableware is crafted with American porcelain clay, finished with custom glazes and occasional touches of luster, Murano glass or melted pure silver. Signature items include cupcake stands with festive confetti glaze and rings that feel like tiny sculptures. But for Marianna, design is only part of the story—she hopes her work inspires others to see jewelry and tableware as spaces of self-expression and connection. “I want to encourage people—especially women—to celebrate everyday rituals,” she shares.

For Marianna, running a woman-owned studio means shaping her work on her own terms—balancing creativity, independence, and care. Her pieces reflect both strength and delicacy, offering new ways for women to express themselves outside conventional jewelry.

As the studio evolves, Argilla NYC is planning collaborations with local makers, open studios, and workshops—growing its reach while keeping handmade celebration at its heart.
