Eric studied sculpture at Oberlin College and also spent time learning woodcarving in Ghana, where he was inspired by traditional furniture design. After moving to New York City and recognizing concrete’s untapped potential for use in design, he focused on this adaptable material and founded Oso Industries in Brooklyn in 2004.
Oso Industries has been showing its line at Dennis Miller Associates in New York City and in a host of reputable showrooms nationwide. The studio also maintains relationships with a number of renowned architecture and design firms and welcomes collaborative projects related to custom furniture and architectural elements. Recently, Oso Industries developed the Oso Mini line, which was on sale at Made in NYC Week 2021 Pop-Up Markets at Lockwood Shops in Astoria and Williamsburg.
