Cypress Hills Community Kitchen
Cypress Hills Community Kitchen, operated by nonprofit Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation (CHLDC), is a state-of-the-art shared commercial kitchen and incubator program located in East New York, with a mission to support early stage food businesses through equitable access to culinary and business development resources. The program provides food entrepreneurs — including bakers, caterers, chefs, beverage producers, CPG makers and more — with access to professional-grade equipment, dry and cold storage, distribution support, business consulting, and free classes and workshops.
Beyond kitchen access, the program provides hands-on business support including personalized business counseling, financial planning guidance, business plan development, marketing and pricing strategies, workshop programming, mentorship opportunities, and preparation for capital access. Entrepreneurs also receive expert guidance on food industry compliance, licensing, and health inspection readiness.
