Cocoon Makers

Cocoon Makers encourages everyone to express their individuality and amplify what they already own. Built from a creative vision for digital collaging, the founder initial goal was to start out designing and printing stationary. Then when the founder’s wife purchased a 3D printer for a graduate school program in architectural fabrication, they started learning 3D modeling and slicing. Falling in love with the creative process of 3D printing, and channeling their own family legacy of jewelry making, Cocoon Makers was born. Now, they are able to introduce Pupa Paper Press as a part of the Cocoon Makers family, finally being able to introduce stationary into their product line.

All the work that Cocoon Makers produces uses modern pieces of technology, such as 3D printing and plotter drawing, and integrates the practice with handcrafting. Some examples of how we do this are: 3D printing charms and then handcrafting them into unique works of jewelry by integrating them with complex chain work. This is hopefully not where our work ends, but it is how our business has hatched. Let us all see how we continue to pupate and create!
