SouveDeer

SouveDeer is a women-founded home fragrance and design brand inspired by Asian culture and everyday rituals. We create handmade soy wax candles, stone diffusers, and culturally inspired goods—many shaped like dumplings, teacups, or mahjong tiles. Our work blends nostalgic elements with modern design to tell sensory stories through scent and form.

We launched SouveDeer in both Taiwan and San Francisco, engaging with customers through markets, retail partners, and cultural events like the Taiwan International Orchid Show. In 2025, I relocated to New York to grow our presence in the U.S., while my sister continues to lead operations in Taiwan. Our products are handcrafted in small batches and packaged in reusable containers like bamboo steamers and ceramic teacups—making them meaningful and giftable.

As a woman-owned, Asian immigrant-founded business, SouveDeer is rooted in the experience of navigating identity and belonging across cultures. Our products are shaped by both memory and migration—bridging heritage with new environments through scent and design. By honoring rituals from our upbringing in Taiwan while creating from our new home in New York, we hope to offer pieces that speak to those who hold more than one culture, and to those curious to experience traditions through a different lens.
