Avenoir Co is redefining home and body fragrances by weaving the rich tapestry of SWANA (Middle East & South Asia) nostalgia into every scent. We specialize in non-hormone disrupting apothecary products, clean candles, original perfume oils, home fragrance products and cold process soap. We unapologetically craft our scents to be authentic, not mainstream or artificial, so we pioneered savory & unique scents not found anywhere else.

Dyana, our founder, is a Jordanian-Palestinian & Filipino artist/maker who was born in the Philippines and grew up in Jordan on her grandmother’s farm, a house covered by jasmine vines and surrounded by fig, olive, and pomegranate trees. Her family harvested their own olives and much of their produce, including fruits and vegetables, and also foraged the surrounding hills for wild thyme, sage, mallow, and other native herbs. Avenoir Co specializes in apothecary home goods with true-to-life scents that evoke nostalgia for this very part of the world that has such a rich history, connection to the land, and the birthplace of perfumery. The word “Avenoir” means memories flowing backwards, aiming to capture the spirit of roots and cherished collective memories. Dyana believes scent and memory are deeply intertwined, and her products strive to transport you to a sacred place, a longed-for moment, a dear person, or even a homeland that can never be forgotten. As the owner and head maker, Dyana runs many aspects of Avenoir Co. She blends our unique oils and fragrances from scratch and handcrafts all of the products in our studio.

One of Avernoir’s most important missions is to go beyond the industry standard and create products that are not only non-toxic, but also non-hormone disrupting. Recent studies have shown that products tailored for POC audiences have disproportionately more toxic ingredients when compared to other audiences. We challenge this by creating products that are unparalleled in their clean composition while staying true to our SWANA roots. It means crafting with harder-to-source, more costly ingredients, but we believe it makes all the difference. Our dedication extends beyond our products; we believe in social and environmental responsibility, sourcing ethically, using recyleable, upcycled & biodegradable materials and containers that are reusable/refillable, while supporting partner charities with 10% of our profits. Avenoir Co combines authenticity with a commitment to social responsibility that offers a sensory experience that defies the ordinary.
