Dhoa Studio

Dhoa means smoke in Bangla, my native tongue. As a first-generation Bangladeshi woman living in NYC, I created Dhoa Studio to honor the ancestral craft of incense-making to help to ease the stresses of modern life. Our incense is 100% plant-based with premium, ethically sourced ingredients and no synthetic fragrances.

Each stick is hand made in small batches in my tiny Brooklyn workshop, where I blend traditional South Asian ingredients—sylhet oud, mysore santal, rangpur lime, lotus flower—with unexpected botanicals like rice milk and guaiac wood. A low-smoke formula designed for small spaces, and packaging made from 100% recycled materials.
