Good Chair Co.

Good Chair Co. was founded in January 2025 by designer Michael Quirk with a mission do do something about the destruction of the ash population from the invasive emerald ash borer.

Each chair is hand built in Sunset Park, Brooklyn out of locally sourced ash trees that were killed by the beetle, and a portion of profits go to replanting beetle resistant trees.

Sustainability and craft are at the core of this business, and each chair is handmade with an attention to craftsmanship and durability. Local delivery available by cargo bike!
