JDS, founded by Joanna, brings over 30 years of garment-making expertise, starting in China in the 1990s and expanding to NYC in 2012. The studio has worked with top fashion houses and emerging designers, earning recognition for excellence in garment manufacturing.
Founded in 2012
JDS specializes in sampling, production, and pattern making, offering flexible no-minimum production with better pricing on larger runs. With longterm collaborations spanning over a decade, JDS has partnered with renowned brands such as Assembly New York, Rachel Comey, Caron Callahan and Malia Mills, and Two New York, as well as emerging labels including Of Her Own Kind, Buci NYC, Arias New York, and more. We work on children’s clothing, menswear, womenswear, bridal, custom pieces, leather, and knits.
