At Nazli & Co., I create custom cakes and dessert installations that are as meaningful as they are beautiful. What started as a six-month pop-up quickly grew into a full-time business rooted in my love for flavor, culture, and design. I’m a self-taught baker with a background in tech and a lifelong connection to food, shaped by growing up around Pakistani meals and traditions. My work blends South Asian flavors with seasonal produce and Western pastry techniques, resulting in cakes that feel both nostalgic and entirely new.
My approach is rooted in two things: ingredients and artistry. I source organic flour, eggs, and produce from local farms, and I work directly with small growers in Sri Lanka to source ethically produced spices and teas. My cakes are intentionally made with health in mind — less sugar, no hydrogenated oils, and as close to the source as possible. When it comes to design, I’m influenced by the bold colors and intricate detail of Pakistani couture, as well as the fruits and flowers I bake with. I work closely with each client to understand the story they want to tell and create something that reflects the emotion of their celebration — whether it’s a single showstopper cake or an entire tablescape.
