Parfums Obim

Parfums Obim creates fragrances that blur boundaries of time, memory, and imagination. Like intimate time capsules, each scent is bold, strange, and emotionally charged—balancing the bizarre with the sensual, and using the unexpected to heighten beauty and depth.

Founded by perfumer Chana Goodman, Parfums Obim is rooted in a life shaped by art, wine, and design. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Chana was trained early as a sommelier at Bianco-Rosso Imports. After obtaining degrees in philosophy, mathematics, and design, Chana later spent over two decades in the beauty industry as an illustrator and lead designer for globally recognized brands such as Marc Jacobs, Beyoncé Knowles, Nautica, Elizabeth Arden, Phyto, DKNY, and Michael Kors. Her path ultimately led to formal perfumery training under Iris Parker and the launch of Parfums Obim, now crafted and sold from her open-lab showroom in Brooklyn.

In addition to its fragrance line, Parfums Obim creates custom scents for brands, events, and immersive environments, from weddings to film and gaming. The studio operates fully independently with in-house fragrance, marketing, packaging development, and experience design.
