Red’s Cake, founded by Jessica Hernandez in 2017, is all about leaving a sweet imprint on the world one treat at a time. What began as a fun hobby blossomed into a true passion, leading Jessica to study Pastry Arts, manage pastry shops across NYC, and ultimately launch a brand devoted to creativity, craft, and community. Every dessert is made with care, blending artistry and flavor to create moments that bring people together.

Hi, I’m Jess Hernandez, the heart behind Red’s Cake! A born-and-raised New Yorker, I’ve always had a sweet tooth and a dream to leave my mark on the world, one cupcake at a time.

What started as a hobby over a decade ago turned into a true passion while I was studying Hospitality Management in college. I eventually switched paths to Pastry Arts, graduated with honors, and went on to manage several pastry shops across the city. Those experiences shaped my love for baking and sparked my drive for entrepreneurship. With a little encouragement (and a lot of sugar), Red’s was officially born in 2017.

Today, Red’s has grown into more than just a bakery—we specialize in seasonal treats, breads, cookies, and cakes, all baked with a mix of creativity, care, and a dash of New York spirit.
